You google, you text, you chat. Do you Poken?

Poken is a new product with an easy way to share your contact details and online social networks in the real world. The Poken is like a USB but with a funny shape, or if you want with a more formal shape.

The Poken has a palm with which if you just hold two Poken palms together you can be connected with the other person.

It's an easy way to be in contact with anybody exchanging the information that you want. When you put your Poken hand in your computer you can enter any information and at the same time you choose what kind of information you want to “Poken”.

It´s snowing!

Have you ever seen snow in San Sebastian? Here is extrange but it happens sometimes as you can see in the photo.

What is GAZE?

GAZE is giving to me, Eva, the chance to work and know about them.

I'm working with a team consisted on a student from "Mondragon Unibertsitatea", another one from Tecnun, one from Deusto, one from UPV and one from Teknika.

GAZE is a project promoted by “Diputación Foral de Guipuzcoa” to enhance the entrepreneurship culture. Our goal is to improve the initiative among young people, making different projects. Our team is organaizing these projects, but we are open and willing to listen to all the suggestions that you can bring us.

We have different activities to enjoy. This Thursday join us in "GO - Gaze Ostegunak" in Altxerri pub in Donosti, Oskar Terol is going to take part. So you can meet him. If you want to go, you have to send a email to gaztekinzale@gmail.com

4th DBH to Italy

15 students from the 4th DBH grade will travel from the 6th to 12th of February to Italy, to the city of Lucca.

They are going to exchange with the Liceo Scientifico Statale “A.Vallisneri”.
The aim of this exchange is to learn about the education system of Italy, the heritage of Toscana and different places like Florencia, Pietra Santa, the marbles of Lucca.

We hope they have a good trip and that they bring us a gift! Hahaha

Gipuzkoa's industries research

During the weeks leading up to winter break our class completed a research project on different industries to have an idea about where we might want to work.

First, we created a plan for our work. This included researching one industry and three companies, from the industry. Next,we searched for information on the companies’ profits, their structure and what we could do in this company.

In the second assignment, we had to give write a short summary giving our opinions about what we thought about the industry before and after our research. We used different resources of information, such as: the website of the companies, wikipedia, newspapers, magazines, and we paid a special attention to how the financial crisis affected the industry and companies we studied. For the most part, we discovered that the financial situation of the companies changed during the years of the financial crisis. We used the decrease in company profits to cite examples.

We found this work to be interesting but challenging as well, due to difficulty in finding certain information.
